Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
- Solid understanding of school-based services and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Previous experience in a school setting considered a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students in elementary, middle, or high school
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students’ success within the classroom environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive learning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, supporting parents and staff as an advocate for students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services as outlined by student plans
