Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working in a school-based/elementary caseload environment
- Familiarity with assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for school-age students
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
- Excellent organization and communication abilities
- Comfortable providing all services onsite in an elementary school
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and develop customized treatment plans for elementary students
- Provide direct therapy to students addressing speech, language, articulation, and social communication needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress, document interventions, and maintain relevant compliance records
- Serve as a communicative resource for staff and families regarding best supports for speech-language needs
- Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as needed
