Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Blue Springs, MO

Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary age students, strongly preferred
- In-depth understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders as they pertain to school-aged children
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students onsite
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to foster student success
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify and address communication challenges
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in the area of speech and language development
- Serve as a resource for staff and caregivers regarding communication supports and strategies
