This full-time opportunity begins in mid-October and runs through late January at a vibrant and supportive school community near Blue Springs, MO. This onsite-only role will let you apply your SLP expertise in a dynamic educational environment, helping young learners achieve meaningful progress in their communication abilities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current SLP license for the state of Missouri
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Skilled at providing therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and report outcomes
- Work effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote academic and social success for students
