What you bring to the role:
- Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to in-person, onsite services only
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for approximately 20 elementary students
- Developing, updating, and tracking individualized treatment plans in collaboration with education teams
- Delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participating actively in IEP meetings, intervention planning, and collaborative team discussions
- Serving as a resource to staff and families, ensuring open and ongoing communication
