A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Blue Springs, MO, with an elementary caseload focusing on students with high needs. This contract role requires an experienced SLP with certification (SLP-CCC and SLP School certification preferred) to provide essential services for the remainder of the current school year, ESY (Extended School Year), and coverage at the start of the 2026–27 school year.
Location: Blue Springs, MO (Onsite)
Contract Duration:
- Leave coverage beginning between May 6 and May 13 through May 22 (end of the current school year)
- ESY from June 1 to June 30 (excluding June 19 for the holiday)
- Start of the 2026–27 school year in August (dates to be finalized)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students with high needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Provide onsite coverage and continuous support during contract periods
- Adhere to district and state regulations regarding special education and therapy services
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC and/or School Certification)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably with high-need cases
- Ability to work onsite full-time during specified contract dates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered therapy and education
