Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Missouri (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with children requiring higher levels of support
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, adapting to a range of communication disorders and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate integrated support in classrooms
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for student needs and contribute positively to the school community
