Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings
- Proven success supporting students with high needs, including those with communication disorders
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to commit to an onsite, full-time schedule throughout the assignment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions for elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal, state, and district guidelines
- Implement evidence-based practices tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for continued growth
