School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hurlock, Maryland

In this position, you’ll focus on filling immediate spot-need caseloads, including serving high schoolers in a self-contained classroom with moderate to severe needs as well as providing itinerant services throughout the district. You’ll enjoy a consistent 37.5-hour workweek with all work performed onsite during the academic year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, active Maryland SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations, including special education
- Ability to support a variety of student needs, including moderate to severe disabilities
- Flexibility to work across multiple school locations
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and district staff to support student success
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school and federal/state requirements
- Adapt service approaches to serve both self-contained and itinerant settings effectively
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
