Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Huntsville, Alabama

This contract position is designed to cover a maternity leave, running from August 2026 through March 2027, with consistent hours from 7am-3pm. You'll be supporting K-12 students, ensuring they continue to receive the highest standard of care during a key period in their academic journey.
Ideal candidates bring a robust skill set that includes experience with pediatrics, school-based caseloads, and a strong background in teletherapy as well as in-person interventions. Whether you're fully credentialed with your CCC or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your expertise will make a difference for students across grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for each student
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
