School Speech Language Pathologist - Humble, TX

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in this role, you’ll have the opportunity to use your skills and training in both direct intervention and evaluation. Your days will include working one-on-one and in small groups with students, as well as conducting essential assessments for nonenrolled children ages 3-5 who may have speech or language concerns. Whether you bring your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your TX SLP credentials will support your success in this rewarding environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLP license (TX SLP credential required)
- Eligibility for or possession of SLP-CCC or completion of master’s degree for CFY consideration
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate approach to engaging students and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a caseload of 58 students within the school
- Conduct arena and SI testing for nonenrolled children ages 3-5 referred for speech/language concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for planning and goal-setting
- Develop and update IEPs, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
