Speech-Language Pathologists with expertise in supporting primary and elementary-aged learners are invited to apply for a full-time, onsite position in the greater Humble, TX area for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll be working closely with energetic student communities and collaborating with dedicated educators across several campus locations. This assignment runs from early August through early June and focuses on evaluations and leadership—not direct therapy.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas (CCC required)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Background in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Strong skills in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Familiarity with ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meeting processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support at primary and elementary school campuses
- Supervise SLPAs in alignment with regulatory and ethical standards
- Complete detailed speech-language evaluations for students
- Lead and facilitate ARD meetings to help coordinate effective student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
