What You’ll Bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist License in Texas (SLP-CCC required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, with a focus on primary and elementary aged students
- Proficiency in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Strong skills in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Comfortable leading and facilitating ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Outstanding communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise SLPAs and ensure best practices in service delivery
- Complete thorough speech-language assessments for students as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate ARD meetings, advocating for student needs and appropriate supports
- Foster collaborative relationships with school staff, administrators, and families
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Note: This role does not involve direct therapy provision
