Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Texas SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Texas SLP license, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience or clinical practice in elementary school settings is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping students with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy to elementary-aged students per IEP requirements
- Collaborate with the current SLP to assess student needs and manage caseload
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, staff, and parents
- Offer guidance and recommendations to support general education staff
