Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship (CF) credentials
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school setting is highly valued, but exceptional CF candidates are encouraged
- Familiarity with a variety of speech/language disorders in school-aged children
- Strong documentation, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and other professionals
Responsibilities in This Role:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across multiple elementary campuses
- Support an existing SLP by helping manage a high caseload, ensuring all students receive services
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to maximize student progress
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and program planning discussions
