Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience (elementary or self-contained preferred)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and individualized education program (IEP) development
- Must be available for an on-site position (remote/virtual work is not an option)
- Able to commit to a full-time schedule (35 hours/week, 4-5 days per week) through June 5, 2027
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a diverse, fast-paced school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other professionals
- Deliver culturally responsive and evidence-based services to a diverse student population
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, consultations, and school team initiatives
- Support students in both general education and self-contained settings as needed
