Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
  • Previous background working in schools, especially with early childhood populations
  • Strong understanding of interventions for students in elementary and self-contained classrooms

  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, and professionalism in diverse school environments
  • Experience in early childhood centers is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a varied caseload of elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support communication in the classroom
  • Consult on classroom strategies and accommodations for students with diverse needs
  • Engage in team meetings and participate in the development and review of IEPs
  • Adapt therapy to suit both individual and group settings as necessary
