Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (State licensure required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish
- Previous school-based SLP experience (elementary setting preferred)
- Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to evidence-based practices
- Comfortable working in self-contained settings as needed
- No educator credential required
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students, addressing bilingual needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
- Provide therapy both in individual and group settings
- Adapt interventions and materials for bilingual, Spanish-English learners
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of required documentation
