Put your expertise into action by supporting students and staff as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the Western Region of New York. This full-time, onsite role involves working with PreK and elementary caseloads in the Hornell and Bath areas, providing vital services to school-aged children in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active New York State Speech-Language Pathology (NYSLP) license
  • TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience within a school setting and with PreK/elementary students preferred
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite (no telepractice)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Maintain detailed progress records and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Adapt therapy strategies to diverse student populations and educational environments
