School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Waverly, New York

Put your expertise into action by supporting students and staff as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the Western Region of New York. This full-time, onsite role involves working with PreK and elementary caseloads in the Hornell and Bath areas, providing vital services to school-aged children in a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications:
- Current, active New York State Speech-Language Pathology (NYSLP) license
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience within a school setting and with PreK/elementary students preferred
- Willingness and ability to work onsite (no telepractice)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Maintain detailed progress records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy strategies to diverse student populations and educational environments
