School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hopkins, Minnesota
Step into a pivotal role impacting student lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential speech and language services to middle school learners for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload of 30-45 students, fostering language development and communication skills in a school-based setting. You’ll collaborate with supportive staff and have access to supervision if you are completing your Clinical Fellowship.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Tier 3 or Tier 4 SLP license with the required school SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply (supervision available)
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is advantageous
- Strong commitment to individualized student support and collaboration within educational teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse middle school caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Document therapy sessions, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of each learner and foster an engaging, inclusive environment
This is a contract position beginning September 8, 2026, and ending June 10, 2027, offering 37.5 hours weekly and serving students across two middle school locations. Expect a collaborative environment dedicated to student success, where both seasoned SLPs and new graduates can grow and contribute meaningfully.
