Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required (or eligibility to obtain by June or July for out-of-state candidates)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience supporting varied caseloads across multiple school levels is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to provide direct, onsite services—virtual/remote roles are unavailable for this assignment

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct timely assessments and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, administrators, and families to develop student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Adapt therapy techniques for students with diverse backgrounds and needs

Assignment Highlights:

  • Full-time contract running from August 13, 2025 to May 27, 2027 (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week)
  • Caseload will include elementary, middle, and high school students, based on the current work model
