Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with early childhood populations strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable managing independent caseloads
- SLPAs and VOCO arrangements are not accepted for this assignment
- Strong collaboration, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a school setting with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for early childhood students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in student support meetings
- Communicate progress to staff and families in a timely, supportive manner
