School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - East Lansing, Michigan

Step into an impactful role supporting early childhood students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis, providing essential services during maternity leave coverage. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Michigan (SLP-CCC required)
- Experience in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations, strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of assessment, diagnostics, intervention, and therapy planning for young learners
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- SLPAs and VOCO not accepted for this assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to early childhood caseloads at the assigned schools
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals and state regulations
- Complete comprehensive assessments, maintain required documentation, and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and parent conferences as needed
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
Assignment Details:
- Start date: December 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027
- Locations: Full-time in Stockbridge, MI and part-time in Dansville, MI
- Serve as maternity leave coverage for two SLPs
