Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and support students within a full caseload across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress
- Document evaluations, progress reports, and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
This is a full-time contract position, offering dedicated support alongside an engaged school community. Your expertise as a North Carolina-licensed SLP-CCC will ensure students are empowered with the tools to achieve their communication and academic goals.
