As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success. Working collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff, you’ll address a diverse range of speech, language, and communication needs within a vibrant school community.
Your Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students across PreK, elementary, and high school levels
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ educational plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
