This full-time contract opportunity extends through the 2026/2027 academic year, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. Onsite services are preferred, but qualified virtual candidates may be considered after vetting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License and GaPSC Educator Certification (confirmation required with your application)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school setting delivering direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and working within special education teams
- Expertise in assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with maintaining compliance documentation according to state and district guidelines
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students, supporting a variety of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records and uphold state/district compliance standards
