Job Overview
We are seeking two qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time, school-based positions in Hendersonville, NC. These opportunities are available immediately and will continue through the 2026–2027 school year.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing speech and language services within educational settings and be comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Caseload assignments will be determined based on the clinician's experience and skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
- Utilize and support assistive listening technology and related communication tools
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Provide supervision and mentorship as needed
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License (Required)
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience with assistive listening technology
- Ability and willingness to supervise support staff and/or Clinical Fellows
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
