School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Hemet, California
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is open for the remainder of the current school year in Hemet, CA. This position offers an opportunity to support a school environment by assisting the current SLP with their caseload, ensuring continuity and quality of care for students requiring speech and language services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the current SLP to manage and support the existing caseload
- Conducting speech and language assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Documenting student progress and communicating with educators and families
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a multidisciplinary approach for student success
Qualifications and experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
- Experience working with K-12 school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff, students, and families
- Ability to follow school district policies and procedures
