Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligibility for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience or strong interest in working in a school-based setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students, both individually and in groups
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations as required by district guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in the classroom
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to RTI and MTSS processes
  • Offer guidance and support to students with diverse communication needs, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
