This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) seeking a contract position in a school setting. Based in Daly City, CA, this role involves providing critical speech and language support to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language services to approximately 30 students
- Case managing around 9 students to coordinate and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
The position follows the 2026-2027 school calendar, tentatively from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. The work schedule consists of 3 to 3.5 days per week, allowing work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in students’ lives.
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Proven experience working in school settings with children requiring speech and language services
- Strong case management skills and ability to support IEP development and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
