Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Haysville, KS

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a mixed model of consult and direct services
- Readiness to provide professional references prior to offer
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse student population
- Maintain and update IEP documentation according to school and district guidelines
- Consult, collaborate, and communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on students’ unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and service planning
- Complete a mix of consultative and direct service hours
- Shadow current SLP, if possible, prior to the official start for a seamless transition
This position is part-time, with approximately 20 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from early October through late December. Candidates may begin shadowing 1-2 weeks prior to the official start date for optimal onboarding and continuity of care.
