Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active, valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 46 students
- Complete about 20 hours of work weekly (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; the final weekly hours may vary based on caseload needs)
- Provide a combination of 1,085 hours consultative and 750 hours direct service as established
- Follow students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain precise, timely records
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student learning
- Begin shadowing the current SLP 1–2 weeks prior to coverage period to ensure a smooth transition
- Participate in in-person interviews (virtual interviews possible upon request) and submit professional references prior to offer consideration
