You'll provide vital services on-site, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students and collaborating with a passionate team.
You’ll be engaged 35 hours per week alongside another SLP professional in this dynamic environment. The focus is on empowering students, helping them find their voice, and supporting their educational success through speech-language interventions tailored to individual needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience supporting school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently
- Maryland licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress and interventions
- Consult with teams about best practices to enhance student success
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for students of all backgrounds
