School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Havre De Grace, Maryland
Shape the educational experience for students by providing expert speech-language therapy in a supportive, school-based setting. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to help students overcome communication challenges and excel both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for state licensure in School Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a school setting preferred, with an understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-focused environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 55 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and social-emotional growth
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families to maximize student success
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
This full-time contract role offers 35 hours a week onsite, so you’ll be immersed in the vibrant school community and witness students’ accomplishments firsthand throughout the academic year.
