Qualifications and Experience:
- Active NC SLP or SLPA license required
- NC DPI Special Service Personnel credential—School SLP
- CCC-SLP or CFY considered, with mentoring available for newer clinicians
- Background in pediatric or school-based speech therapy, including assessment, intervention, and evaluations
- Strong communication skills for family, staff, and student collaboration
- Ability to adapt therapy to meet IEP goals and individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop detailed treatment plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions across diverse student populations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other special education professionals to promote student success
- Document progress clearly and maintain timely records in compliance with all local and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process
- Support other therapy professionals and foster a positive and collaborative learning environment
