Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- North Carolina DPI Special Service Personnel – School SLP Credential is mandatory
- Open to SLPs holding CCC, those in CFY, and SLPAs with relevant school-based experience
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to interface with teachers, parents, and administrative staff
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, and therapy planning
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary educational team
- Maintain detailed records of progress and prepare required documentation for compliance
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent conferences
- Consult with teachers and staff to support students within classroom environments
