Key Details:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Onsite role serving K-12 students
- Two openings for maternity leave coverage: • Position 1: Late September through mid-December • Position 2: Mid-November through early January
- Zoom interview process for convenience and speed
Qualifications:
- ASHA CCCs required (Certification of Clinical Competence)
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Recent, proven school-based SLP experience required
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must successfully complete district-level fingerprinting and background check
- SLPAs are not being considered for this opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders in a K-12 student population
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with other educators and staff
- Provide insight and support to families regarding student progress and needs
