School Speech Language Pathologist - Hartford, Connecticut
Step into a dynamic school-based setting supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC. Two full-time contract opportunities are available to cover maternity leaves, working onsite in a welcoming educational environment near Hartford, CT.
The first position starts at the end of September and runs through mid-December. The second begins mid-November and continues until early January. Each role offers a 35-hour workweek, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across a wide age and ability spectrum.
To thrive in this role, candidates should bring:
- Active Connecticut SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Strong school-based SLP experience (K-12 students)
- Availability to work full time, onsite
- District fingerprinting and background check clearance
- Ability to interview via Zoom
- Upfront licenses considered an asset
- Willingness to engage with the full grade span (K-12)
- SLPAs are not eligible
Daily, you will:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students
- Conduct assessments and write IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Track progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in school team meetings as needed
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
