This role focuses on providing speech and language services to students in Pre-K through 2nd grade with mild to moderate disabilities. The position is onsite, spanning 37.5 hours per week from January 2026 through April 2026, with the potential for extension based on program needs.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Connecticut SLP License
- CT Teachers Certification 061 required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based speech therapy
- Comfortable delivering therapy in-person within school settings
- Background in teletherapy is a plus
- Solid understanding of IEP documentation and implementation
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Pre-K–2
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school teams to foster communication goals
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation as required
- Provide consultation and strategies for classroom-based communication support
- Adapt therapy approaches as needed to suit a diverse group of learners
