Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, either individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, document interventions, and prepare progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student goals and services
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to foster student success
