What We're Looking For:
- Active Oregon license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience within school settings, especially with pediatric and adolescent populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills tailored to students in secondary education
- Collaborative mindset and readiness to work alongside educators, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability to different needs in a diverse educational community
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with teachers and parental support
- Consult and collaborate with school teams to create effective strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate, timely records consistent with school and state requirements
- Monitor, document, and report progress; adjust interventions as necessary for optimal student outcomes
- Educate and empower families, caregivers, and staff on approaches that foster communication gains
