This role is based at an elementary school serving approximately 50 students from PreK through 4th grade. What You'll Need:
- Active speech-language pathology state license
- Current educator certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools, preferably elementary level
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with flexibility and a proactive approach
- Open to both full-time or part-time availability (onsite presence required)
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among PreK-4th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and update goals as needed
- Conduct regular progress evaluations and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each student's communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, interventions, and provide consultative support to school teams
- Maintain adherence to federal, state, and school policies and guidelines
