Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia
- Approved GaPSC Educator Certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY considered)
- Recent experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within a K-12 environment
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate student records and document progress
- Participate in pre- and post-planning as needed and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
This is an onsite position starting August 3rd, 2026, continuing through May 21st, 2027, with some days reserved for orientation and planning.
