Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lawrenceville, Georgia

You’ll collaborate within a supportive network, as all sites feature additional SLPs and SLPAs to share insights and caseloads. With schools situated a short drive north of Atlanta and west of Decatur, and communities throughout Decatur, Athens, Suwanee, Alpharetta, Norcross, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, Sugar Hill, Buford, Lilburn, Grayson, Hoschton, and Duluth, you’ll have convenient access to vibrant neighborhoods and city amenities.
Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Valid state licensure (Georgia SLP license or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, healthcare, or teletherapy settings
- Comfort working with children across K–12
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide direct speech-language therapy for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document session progress and maintain student records (SLPs do not bill Medicaid)
- Support parents and teachers with strategies to enhance student communication
- Participate in meetings, training, and professional growth opportunities
