School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hamburg, New York
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated speech-language professional. This role is designed for passionate clinicians eager to make a real impact in an elementary K-4 school environment. Working full-time, you’ll enjoy consistent 7.5-hour days, ensuring a balanced routine and ample opportunity to build long-term relationships with students and staff throughout the school year, from September 8th, 2026, through June 25th, 2027.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current or eligible New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Empathy and enthusiasm for supporting children’s communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-4 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate daily with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide therapy services and interventions within a single, supportive elementary school community
