Qualifications:
- Hold a current and active Alabama SLP license
- Certification as SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred—not required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload spanning grades K-12
- Adaptability across multiple nearby school locations
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Maintain accurate and timely records to track student progress and ensure compliance
- Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions as appropriate for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Communicate with faculty, staff, and caregivers to promote student success across all sites
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week, and starts on August 12, 2026, concluding May 26, 2027. Working across three closely situated campuses ensures variety in your day without long-distance travel.
