Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Background in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Experience providing therapy to K-12 students strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and assessments for a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and relevant reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Travel between three local school campuses as part of your weekly schedule
Position Details and Benefits:
- Contract duration: August 12, 2026 – May 26, 2027
- Competitive compensation at $50 per hour
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule
