Step into a dynamic role supporting students' communication development for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a valued Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, delivering comprehensive speech and language services in an engaging school environment. With a flexible contract spanning from ASAP through May 26, 2027, this full-time opportunity offers the chance to empower learners Monday through Friday, at 37.5 hours per week.
Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering student success, working closely with a multidisciplinary team and families to support diverse needs. Preference is for onsite professionals, yet applicants with teletherapy (VOCO) skills are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License and GaPSC Educator Certification (required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Solid background conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing treatment plans
- Collaborative approach to working with educators and caregivers
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers and families
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
