Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and school staff
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support students’ speech/language development
- Engage in IEP and team meetings, providing professional input and progress updates
- Participate in professional development and stay up-to-date on best practices in school-based speech therapy
