Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and relevant school-based activities
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and other school personnel regarding student needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes student growth and success
