Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in the state
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and best practices in school settings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team supporting K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to students
- Engage in the IEP process, maintaining accurate records and collaborating with educators and families
- Create individualized interventions targeting speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Monitor progress, adjust therapy strategies, and communicate outcomes effectively
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and caregivers, fostering a positive learning environment
