Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and valid SLP license for Washington state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development, therapy implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and manage a small, focused caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to eligible students following IEP goals
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication skills using various standardized tools
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required by district and state guidelines
